Located 50 miles east of the Panama Canal, the very accessible San Blas Islands are some of the most beautiful unvisited and pristine in the world. You will not see any Cruise ships or resorts on these unspoiled islands but what you will see are the very friendly indigenous Indians that still maintain their ways and dress and travel by canoe. If you have ever dreamed of deserted tropical islands with white sand beaches and coconut palms swaying in the breeze next to crystal clear water beckoning you to swim, then here are 360 islands that will fulfill your expectations.

These islands that time forgot enjoy weather that is balmy year round with daily highs around 80°F. Consistent easterly trade winds keep humidity low and Caribbean currents keep the surrounding waters warm. These islands are below the Caribbean hurricane zone. Because these islands do not have any cities, the stars at night are the brightest we have seen near land.

Most guests fly to Panama City, then take a quick hopper flight out to Corazon de Jesus or Porvenir. They then finish with a return flight from Porvenir or Corazon de Jesus to Panama City.

An alternative is to fly to Cartagena, Columbia, then sail about 15 miles to the Rosario Islands, then sail about 200 more miles overnight to the San Blas Islands. Cartgena is a city steeped in history with beautiful Colonial architecture reminiscent of old Europe. From the cobblestone streets and great Catholic churches to the smiling faces of friendly local people and romantic gourmet restaurants.
